Auditor:

We are currently looking for a keen and committed candidate to cover a period of approximately three months in the Children's Social Work Audit Team.

The Children's Social Work Audit Team is a key element of Children's Services and of the improvement plan. They have a key role in both understanding the quality of practice across Children's Services and driving improvement in the quality of services provided to children in Lancashire. They are a small but effective team covering Children's Social Care, Fostering, Adoption, and SEND.

Audits in Children's Services cover three tiers:

-Tier 1 – Compliance Audits
-Tier 2 – Quality of Practice Audits
-Tier 3 – Head of Service Audits

The role covers undertaking Tier 1 audits, allocation of audits, and collation of returned audits, reporting of findings for tier 1 audits, supporting the quality control of tier 2 audits, providing analysis of tier 1 audit findings, and supporting the development of new audit tools as per service requirements.

The ideal candidate will have:

-Understanding of children's social work (social work qualification not necessary).
-Understanding and experience of audit.
-Ability to use the LCS system.
-Numerical ability.
-Ability to use MS Excel at a high level and MS Outlook.

Lead Occupational Therapist – East Riding of Yorkshire

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist Lead who is enthusiastic, resilient and inspiring in their working practice.

The successful candidate will carry out a range of social care tasks at a lead practitioner competence level including:

- Undertaking day to day team management tasks.
- Assist team manager in effective strategic development of the team
- Prioritising case loads and allocating urgent cases.
- Regular formal and informal supervision of OTs and OTAs

Aurora Resourcing are seeking for an Educational Psychologist on behalf of a Local Authority in the area. You will be responsible for delivering an effective educational psychology service to schools and other institutions by providing advice and guidance on assessment and interventions for vulnerable youth in Darlington.

Duties (not exhaustive):

- Providing services of psychological consultation and advice to the LA and to schools.
- Offering advice and practical strategies to schools on issues relating to individuals or groups of pupils, and to take part in, or lead, training courses as required.
- Provide psychological and educational assessments and advice, both statutory and non-statutory, on individual needs in their context in accordance with the Authority’s procedures and valid professional practice.
- This will include, as appropriate, collation of data, observation and interview both structured and non-structured, analysis of progress over time and the use of standard assessment techniques.
- Undertake casework as needed for people within assigned part of the community to ensure that children, families and adults, and those services and agencies supporting them receive appropriate information, advice and assistance.
- Provide advice and reports, both statutory and non-statutory, on individuals and other matters to the Authority and other agencies as required.

Requirements:

The successful person will hold a honours degree in psychology or equivalent and have a BPS recognised postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology
You be eligible for Chartered Status as an Educational Psychologist with the British Psychological Society and registered with the HCPC.

The rate of pay is based on the Soulbury Scale and may vary according to experience. Flexible working is available The EP team is co located EPs have their own desk, work space and tablet.

- Work directly with children and their families, foster carers and permanent alternative carers to ensure the best interests of children are met.
- Manage any financial arrangements associated with allocated work
